Oftentimes a craving for sugar is sometimes actually a craving for water or more energy.

Many people tend to be chronically dehydrated.   I’d been informed years ago, that the book “The Body’s Many Cries for Water”, states that the water and sugar centers are next to one another in the brain

Sufficient hydration:

  1.  improves weight loss by supporting the metabolic breakdown of fat and removing toxins from the body
  2.  mitigates cravings that appear to be for sugar and energy and actually are for water
  3.  improves focus
  4.  support heart health https://share.upmc.com/2014/09/importance-hydration-heart/
  5.  balances blood pressure
